Microneedling creates thousands of microscopic channels in the skin. Your body responds by laying down new collagen and elastin — the same wound-healing cascade that produces a scar, but distributed so finely that the result is smoother skin rather than a mark.

Adding PRP means those channels are flooded with your own concentrated growth factors at the moment they're open. It's the same principle, amplified.

Patience is the requirement

Collagen remodeling takes months. The skin looks worse before it looks better, and the real payoff arrives eight to twelve weeks after your last session. If you need to look good next week, book this for after.

Every treatment starts with a health evaluation. You'll complete a health history before your appointment, and Drew examines you before treating. Some conditions, medications, and pregnancy or nursing make treatment unsafe — we'll tell you if you're not a candidate. Results and dosing vary between people.

Common questions

Platelet-rich plasma. We draw a small amount of your blood, spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, and apply that concentrate during microneedling so it reaches the deeper layers of skin. It's entirely your own tissue — nothing foreign goes in.
Three, spaced four to six weeks apart, is the standard protocol for texture and scarring. Collagen remodels slowly, so the real result shows up two to three months after the final session.
Expect to look like a moderate sunburn for 24 to 48 hours, with some flaking around day three. Most people are presentable with makeup by day two — though you should avoid makeup entirely for the first 24 hours.
Yes, for rolling and boxcar scars specifically — those respond to collagen induction. Ice-pick scars respond poorly to microneedling and need a different approach. Deep or extensive scarring is better served by an ablative laser under a dermatologist's care, and we'll refer you rather than undertreat.
